DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou celebrated Earth Hour 2018 from 8:30-9:30p.m. on Saturday, March 24 by Environmental Knowledge Quiz Competition. The hotel was taking action locally to engage in sustainability efforts – from water stewardship and energy conservation to reducing waste and community projects.

酒店总经理刘宗敏表示，“广州希尔顿逸林酒店坚信保护环境并非朝夕之行，而是分分秒秒的身体力行。目前，酒店已经落实多项环保节能措施，如采用LED节能照明；采用节水水龙头；酒店区域采取分时段控制灯光以上；厨房使用节能炉灶；九省空气源热泵改造等措施；并且2017年酒店在会议室、健身中心改用玻璃瓶装饮用水代替塑料瓶装饮用水。”

“DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou will hosted the "Start of my 60+ Life" event on 24 March that is in line with the Earth Hour event. Hotel implements numerous environmental protection and energy saving measures such as (i) LED energy-saving lighting; (ii) using of water-saving faucet and  energy-saving stoves; and (iii) using time-sharing control lighting in some areas; (iv) heat recovery fron the air for Refrigeration and heating; (v) plastic bottles have been eliminated across the country at our hotel’s meeting spaces and health clubs last year.”said Mr. Richard Liu, General Manager.
