To celebrate its shared history between Fairmont hotels and movies, Fairmont Loves Film was launched in September 2018. The exhibition and event program showcase some of the most iconic images and stories about the movies that were filmed at Fairmont properties around the world. After its official premier in September 2018 during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Fairmont Loves Film travels to Shanghai in June 2019. Partnering with Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) as Special Support Partner, Fairmont has its exhibition trailer featured at key SIFF screenings and social media platforms throughout the festival’s June 15 to 24 duration. Fairmont China properties—Fairmont Peace in Shanghai, Fairmont Beijing, Fairmont Chengdu, Fairmont Yangcheng Lake and Fairmont Nanjing—host the exhibition alongside themed dining experiences.

从经典海派电影到当代好莱坞大片，费尔蒙电影时光中国影展呈现了250多部影片在费尔蒙酒店取景的主要画面和精彩故事。影片包括：拍摄于班夫费尔蒙温泉城堡酒店、由玛丽莲·梦露参演的《大江东去》（River of No Return）；拍摄于旧金山费尔蒙酒店、由詹姆斯·斯图尔特参演的《迷魂记》（Vertigo），该酒店也是导演阿尔弗雷德·希区柯克（Alfred Hitchcock）在当地挚爱的酒店；拍摄于伦敦萨沃耶酒店、由梅丽尔·斯特里普主演的《法国中尉的女人》（The French Lieutenant’s Woman）；拍摄于纽约广场大酒店的《小鬼当家2：迷失纽约》（Home Alone 2: Lost in New York）；以及拍摄于和平饭店、由巩俐主演的《摇啊摇，摇到外婆桥》（Shanghai Triad）和纪录片《上海老爵士》（As Time Goes By）等。
From classic Shanghai dramas to contemporary Hollywood blockbusters, Fairmont Loves Film China Exhibition showcases some of the key images and stories from the more than 250 feature films that Fairmont properties have starred in. The films include River of No Return at Fairmont Banff Springs featuring Marilyn Monroe; Vertigo at Fairmont San Francisco with James Stewart at Alfred Hitchcock’s favorite hotel in the Bay area; The French Lieutenant’s Woman at The Savoy in London, a Fairmont managed hotel, starring Meryl Streep; Home Alone 2: Lost in New York at The Plaza in New York; and Shanghai Triad with Gong Li and the documentary As Time Goes By, both shot at Fairmont Peace Hotel.

美食体验当然必不可少，各地的费尔蒙酒店都将推出多种主题餐饮体验，更加烘托出费尔蒙电影时光的难忘氛围。参与活动的五家酒店将提供以电影为主题的下午茶，以及与大荧幕相关的、独具匠心的美味点心。此外，被上海电影家协会授予特别贡献奖的和平饭店还将在华懋阁餐厅为宾客奉上主题菜单，探寻“蒂凡尼早餐的美味前奏”、“诺丁山嘉年华”、“海派爵士传奇”等以电影为灵感的别出心裁的美食体验。
As gourmet experiences are essential to Fairmont, a number of themed dining experiences will take place to enhance Fairmont Loves Film. All five participating hotels will offer a cinematic themed afternoon tea with creative canapés that allude to the silver screen. Fairmont Peace Hotel, named as Best Contributor of Shanghai Film Association, will also offer a special dinner menu in the Cathay Room for guests to explore creative dishes such as Herald of Tiffany’s Breakfast, Notthing Hill Carnival and Legendary Old Jazz Band.

七八月间，费尔蒙还将举办一场面向新锐年轻导演的短片竞赛，最终获奖导演将获得品牌赞助，以中国任意费尔蒙酒店为背景执导一部短片，这也是费尔蒙电影时光系列活动的进一步延伸。
In July and August, a short film contest for budding young filmmakers will see the winning director sponsored to direct a short film against the backdrop of any Fairmont hotel in China. The short film will form the second part of Fairmont Loves Film activity series.
