MADE BY ORIGINALS With over four decades of experience between them in the hospitality industry, father and son team Misha and Marcel Vadera are a learned duo. Misha has been a keen collector of art for over 30 years, with a fair amount showcased throughout The Anya Hotel, Gurgaon. Marcel shares this passion but also places high esteem on fine food, which is channeled through the hotel’s blissful union of Western tastes and Indian tradition. ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN The Anya Hotel, Gurgaon's unique façade is a creation of renowned architect Alfaz Miller, and answers to the hoteliers’ desire for a non-linear, crescent-shaped structure. This sleek, curvy design and a sandy color scheme sits in harmony with the surrounding buildings. Inside, such colors as rani pink, indigo blue, marigold orange, and eggplant purple create a truly Indian aesthetic, while Italian marble, wooden floors and silks make for a patchwork of textures embellished with chandeliers and dimmable Flos lamps.
