关于本酒店 THE HOTEL Sense Hotel Sofia is the Bulgarian capital's first upscale design hotel, with a matchless location on Sofia’s main boulevard Tsar Osvoboditel. Many of the 67 rooms and suites have views stretching well beyond the neighboring National Assembly and St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. The rooftop bar and Mediterranean fusion restaurant, popular with locals, are similarly panoramic. Owner George Chopev and partners aimed to create a new classic that would stand out from the area's prominent buildings. MADE BY ORIGINALS Transgressing his comfort zone of retail, real estate, and land development, George Chopev stepped into hospitality with Sense Hotel Sofia. Along with a group of business partners and a portfolio of successful investments, Chopev managed to create the Bulgarian capital’s first upscale design-led hotel. ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN Sensitive to its surroundings while progressing Sofia’s architectural landscape, the hotel’s glass façade resembles a patchwork of orange-golden squares under a grid of thick black lines. The pivoting privacy panels behind the glass also combine with the mood lighting to create a constantly changing configuration of colors and shapes for onlookers below. Inside, a subdued palette, natural wooden floors, and leather furniture exude an elegant masculinity, while clean lines and polished glass represent the building’s modernist leanings.
