ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN Rooms Hotel Kazbegi is a remote hideaway in a geometric structure with a sun-worshipping personality. As reconstructed by the Adjara Arch Group, the hotel blends into its surroundings, while glass walls in rooms and many communal spaces keep nature and location firmly in guests’ minds. The interior design is minimalist and borrows from the country’s European and Asian heritage. Untreated wood floors, fireplaces, and rugs from the area add a rustic-chic character, while seating areas are walled by bookshelves to add coziness. Soviet Union-era posters adorn walls, and rooms employ a mushroom-taupe palette with the odd dash of color.
