THE HOTEL
Elizabeth Unique Hotel marries the Rome of yesterday with finely appointed, art-filled opulence of the moment. Set in a gloriously restored 17th-century palazzo in the heart of the capital’s historic center amid the picturesque Via del Corso area, the 33-room townhouse is a hive of sophisticated design and international allure. Arched walls, lacquered wooden panels, reproduced antique wallpaper prints, canopy beds, couture fabrics, and carefully curated artwork set the stage. Through a private entrance adjacent to the city’s top restaurants and boutiques, guests are greeted by a majestic double-height entrance that leads to a refined lobby and reading room warmed by an open fireplace.
MADE BY ORIGINALS
Father-and-son duo Giovanni and Vittorio Curatella are committed to carrying on the building industry legacy of their family—one that has spanned five generations. With Elizabeth Unique Hotel, they used their second-nature knowledge of architectural functionality and beauty to create a place that contributes invaluably to Rome’s hospitality landscape, while enriching it with ingredients from family farms, olive groves, vineyards, and orchards.
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
Housed inside the first and second floor of a 17th-century Palazzo Pulieri Ginetti building in central Rome, the hotel boasts high ceilings, large windows, and unforgettable views of the surrounding historic buildings. Upon walking through the private entrance on Via delle Colonnette, guests step into a world of rich materials. Admire suede, eco-leather, antique print wallpapers, and a multidisciplinary collection of contemporary artworks from such names as Enrico Benetta, Veronica Montanino, Manuel Felisi, Michael Gambino, Luca Di Luzio, and Giorgio Tentolini, as curated by local gallerist Fabrizio Russo.
