ARCHITECTURE & DESIGNAcclaimed Turkish architect Sinan Kafadar harkened back to the architectural styles of the 1940s and 1950s, albeit with a contemporary edge, to create Gezi Hotel Bosphorus. The hotel’s 17-story zinc and titanium façade curves with the sweeping views of the Bosphorus and captures Istanbul’s transitional state between the past and the future with timeless design and cutting-edge green Technology. The interior is comprised of luxurious woods, leathers, and color-blocking by the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian.
