关于本酒店 THE HOTEL Just steps from an idyllic cove, Boca Chica is a grand addition to Acapulco's new era. Once the playground of Hollywood elite, this 36-room hotel was constructed in the late 1950s next to the glamorous Club de Yates and the famed Los Flamingos Hotel. Today, the vintage exterior looks like it's straight out of a 1950s movie set; inside, the fully reinvigorated interior still channels the Cary Grant years. MADE BY ORIGINALS The duo behind Grupo Habita has been bringing a design revolution to Mexico’s hospitality industry since 2000. Investment banker Moisés Micha and citrus farmer Carlos Couturier have built up a collection of over a dozen diverse, award-winning hotels across Mexico and more recently in the USA. The ideological pair excels at choosing untapped locations in Mexico where they can integrate their vision into the personality of the city. As they put it: “It’s about creating experiences for your guests and making the world better through hospitality.” ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN The hotel has seen a dazzling revitalization at the hands of Mexican contemporary artist Claudia Fernandez. Most of the original features and furniture from this 1950s architectural jewel remain intact, such as the original marble and granite mosaic floor and lattice "celocia" brickwork. Designers Frida Escobedo and José Rojas have remodeled the interior with style and more than a hint of humor.
