关于本酒店 THE HOTEL Casa Fayette is set in Guadalajara’s Lafayette district, an emerging district of cool cafés, fine dining spots, and an energetic art scene. All of the hotel’s 37 rooms offer a cool nod to Art Deco design, while the overall building is a marriage of early 20th-century and contemporary architecture. MADE BY ORIGINALS The duo behind Grupo Habita has been bringing a design revolution to Mexico’s hospitality industry since 2000. Investment banker Moisés Micha and citrus farmer Carlos Couturier have built up a collection of over a dozen diverse, award-winning hotels across Mexico and more recently in the USA. The ideological pair excels at choosing untapped locations in Mexico where their can integrate their vision into the personality of the city. As they put it: “It’s about creating experiences for your guests and making the world better through hospitality.” ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN Mexican architect Vanessa López has effectively responded to the booming Lafayette district’s transitory identity by blending early 20th-century architecture with a polished, contemporary façade. The new part of the building—the tower—houses the spa on the top floor, as well as the guest rooms and suites on the lower floors, while the older part is dedicated to the hotel’s common areas. The interiors—by Italian firm Dimorestudio—gloriously blend Art Deco with retro design, bridging a gulf between European and Italian design and Mexican culture.
