T&L:您觉得2017年中国的高端酒店业市场有何变化?贵酒店如何应对这些变化?

What changes do you think about China's high-end hotel market in 2017? How did your hotel respond to these changes?

Blandine Cressard女士: 深圳G公寓在2017年3月25日正式开业。在酒店施工筹备阶段,我们就非常重视建筑材料的采用,房间的格局设计和软件设施的安装。在这几方面我们努力做到最好,把酒店塑造成在业内独一无二的、以顾客体验和个性化服务为核心的现代居所。
G公寓是一个有态度的生活方式酒店及服务式公寓,提供高效的客户服务,注重装潢设计,音乐灯光和空气香氛、并敏锐于时尚潮流。
Blandine: Residence G Shenzhen opened on25th March 2017. During the construction and set up we paid high attention to bring the best in terms of construction material, room lay out, decoration and software to be different with a focus on the enhancing guest experience and personalized service.

Residence G is attitude lifestyle hotel/serviced apartment with strong identity providing efficient guest services with focus on decoration, music and lighting moods, scents and fashion.

T&L:越来越多的高端酒店进驻中国市场,竞争也越来越激烈,贵酒店有哪些措施应对激烈的竞争环境?

More and more high-end hotels are entering the Chinese market, leading more and fiercer competition. What measures will you take to deal with the fierce competition environment?

Blandine Cressard女士:G公寓的不同之处在于它的产品和团队。
拥有大落地窗的客房既宽敞又明亮,以暖色调为主,白色的嵌入式衣橱和木质板墙,加上精心挑选的舒适床垫和床上用品,让客人在结束了一整天的忙碌工作后,回到居所时可以尽情放松身心,就像在家一样,而不是一个陌生的临时住所。
G公寓的团队由一群充满活力的、渴望在一个“现代和国际化环境”里工作和学习的年轻人组成,在这里,他们的个性和技能得到发展和锻炼。我们择人的首要标准是态度和品格。G公寓的管理层年轻肯干,亲力亲为。在深圳G公寓,提升客人体验是我们不变的工作态度,同时我们也为员工提供在酒店行业越走越远的机会和平台。
Blandine: Residence G’s difference is in the product and in the Team.
The rooms are very bright with floor to ceiling windows, white built in closets and white wood panel walls, high ceiling, special attention has been given to the choice of mattresses and linen to ensure the highest sleeping comfort to our guests, soft and warm colors, decoration especially selected to give a welcoming and homey feeling. After their work day at the office, guests come back home, not to an anonymous place they booked.

Residence G Team is young, dynamic and eager to work and learn in a “modern and International environment” where their personality and skills are put forward. We selected them for their attitude and personality. Managers are young and hands on. In Residence G Shenzhen enhancing Guest’s experience is an attitude. In Residence G we give all Associates a chance to shine and grow in Hospitality industry.

T&L:您认为过去一年酒店业在服务创新、管理创新、科技创新等方面有哪些值得关注的案例?

What noteworthy cases of service innovation, management innovation, scientific and technological innovation within hotel industry in the past year?

Blandine Cressard女士:“随时随地与世界连接”对于现代旅行者是关键,所以高速免费的网络是必不可少的。
互联网电视不仅能连接客人们的移动设备,收发邮件,短信或微信,也可以在线观看电影和听音乐。我们还会提供一部智能手机供客人在入住期间使用,可以免费上网、拨打本地及国际长途电话。
Blandine: “Stay Connected” is the key innovation for travelers today. High speed free internet is a must.

Connected TV where one can connect own devise to follow up emails, messages, Wechat but also stream their favorite music or movie. Mobile phone available during guests stay with Internet, free local and International calls access during their entire stay is an offer which will favor the hotel applying it.

T&L:酒店与OTA的合作及矛盾是2017年的热点,您个人对此有何看法?

What do you think about the hot issue on the contradiction and cooperation between hotel and OTA in 2017?

Blandine Cressard女士:酒店与网上预订平台之间的关系一直以来都是个热门话题。如今的网上预订平台在所有预订渠道里占相当一部分的比重。网上预订平台对于那些规模较小、不是知名品牌、没有太多市场推广经费却又想吸引更大客户群的酒店来说,是一个不错的对外窗口。
相互信任和尊重,确保房间价格的一致性是维持良好合作关系的关键。有一些酒店不太遵守规则,偏向与个别能为其提供较好收益的网上预订平台有更多的合作;也有一部分酒店像我们一样非常重视价格一致性,这是我们在网上预订平台的价格策略,但也会面临一些问题,比如一些大型的网上预订平台不尊重房价一致性、自行降低房价,这样不仅影响市场的正常运作、酒店的商业策略、也影响酒店与其他预订渠道之间的关系。
我不认为这种商业运作的手法和态度可以在市场上风行长久,尤其是国际业务。网上预订平台应该是一个能够让更大范围的潜在客人看到酒店的房价,并为酒店进行推广营销的平台。网上预订平台与酒店之间的合作应该是双赢互利的。
Blandine: Relationship between Hotels and OTAs has always been a hot topic. OTAs today have taken a large share in the reservation channels. OTAs provide a window to the World and could be an asset for some small or non-branded hotels with low marketing budget who wish to target a larger audience.
What is the key to a successful relationship is trust and mutual respect of Rate Parity. Some hotels do not respect and favor 1 OTA with better deals and on the other hand there are hotels like us focusing on Rate parity and having it as OTA rate strategy but facing issues with a few large OTAs not respecting and cutting the rates affecting the market and the hotels’ business strategy and relations with other booking channels.

In the future I do not believe such attitude can grow especially with more International business. OTA should be a platform to advertise hotel rates to a wider range of customers and propose marketing actions. OTAs should partner with hotels to be more beneficial financially to all parties.

T&L: 2017年贵酒店有哪件事情或成就令您最为难忘?

What’s the most memorable event or accomplishment of your hotel in 2017?

Blandine Cressard女士:2017年10月28日,深圳G公寓在在能够俯瞰室内泳池的会所餐厅与酒吧,举办了一场名为“Un Dîner Gastronomique”的私人定制美食盛宴。来自米其林星级餐厅及亚洲排名前一百餐厅的三位主厨,精心准备了独一无二的六道式精致美食与美酒搭配。

Blandine: On October 28th, 2017, Residence G Shenzhen organized “Un Dîner Gastronomique”, a gastronomic 6-course fusion Mediterranean dinner with wine pairing prepared by 3 highly awarded chefs who worked in Michelin Starred restaurants & Top 100 best tables in Asia at The ClubHouse, trendy restaurant overlooking the indoor pool in Residence G Shenzhen.

T&L:2018年贵酒店的工作重点是什么?您有什么特别的计划或想法吗?

What will be the focus of your hotel in 2018? Do you have any particular plans or ideas?

Blandine Cressard女士:我期待在2018年里可以举办更多创新的社区活动,作为公寓与酒店的结合给顾客带来更好的体验。深圳G公寓成功的打造了一个不但适宜居住,而且娱乐设施完善,能够将工作和休闲很好结合在一起的居住场所,我们称其为能满足客人所有需求的一站式社区。

Blandine: In 2018 I am looking forward to keep creating community events and adding more features to Residence hotel to better elevate the guest's experience. Residence G Shenzhen has done a great job combining living, entertainment, work and leisure into one place – thus being a one-stop facility for its guests/resident’s needs.

T&L:可否用一句话把贵酒店最值得体验的东西介绍给我们的读者?

Could you sum up in one sentence to introduce what’s the most worthy to be experienced in your hotel to our readers?

Blandine Cressard女士: 只要是我们能够做到的,我们便会竭尽所能去满足客人的需求, 因为我们知道这里是他们的另一个家。

Blandine: If a customer has a need that we can meet, we will make it happen because we know that this is their home away from home.

T&L:2018年您个人有什么样的旅行计划?您个人选择酒店的标准是什么?

What’s your travel plan in 2018? What’s your personal standard to choose a hotel?

Blandine Cressard女士:在过去的25年中,我在横跨四大洲的10个不同的国家生活和居住过 (其中有4个是亚洲国家)。
2018年我会去探索那些我还没去过的地方,比如美洲中部或古巴。
当我利用闲暇时间出游时,我总是会特地选择住在有“人情味”的酒店,而不是那些传统意义上的标准酒店。我一直在寻找“不走寻常路”的酒店,希望那里的装潢、服务或是餐饮能让我眼前一亮,印象深刻。
For the past 25 years I have travelled, lived and worked in 10 different countries (including 4 Asian countries) over 4 continents.
In 2018 I will go to places I have not discovered yet, such as Central America or Cuba.
When travelling on my free time I always choose hotels of human size and not standardized. I am looking for the “out of the box” place where decoration, service will enhance my guest experience and will offer a culinary journey.
